France has fined users 200 million euros for failing to provide online tracking to Facebook and Google.
According to US news agency US News, the French research agency CNIL said in its report that users in France only need one click to accept cookies on both platforms while the screen is to exit this online tracking.
But many times you have to press the button. Cookies are a type of tracking code used by websites for advertising or other purposes for users.
European countries have more stringent laws regarding the use of cookies by the user. France has fined Google 150 150 million and Facebook 60 60 million.
