You may have seen the humanoid robot that walks on the floor. Now scientists have started working on a humanoid robot that can fly in the air like Superman.
According to the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), a human-sized robot can be controlled during the flight but will need to understand the entire system of petals or thrusters. However, state-of-the-art sensors Thanks to this, various conditions and needs have been assessed during the flight of this robot.
The head of the Artificial Intelligence and Mechanical Intelligence Laboratory at IIT has been working on it since 2016. In disasters such as fires and earthquakes, they want to build humanoid help robots that can somehow fly to get there and help in search and rescue.
Now their new humanoid robot is on the ground and in the future will be able to fly from one building to another. He will also be responsible for opening the door at accident sites, turning off electricity and gas switches, and searching for survivors.
Regardless of when a humanoid robot was created, the robot is now being made airworthy and will be renamed the Iron Cube. Engineers insist that any flight system should be based on the centroid movement so that robots can be flown in any environment.
In the first phase, the Iron Cube robot has been tested with a jet engine, but only a few features have been tested. It will be difficult.
